SculptureJataka Narrative in Terracotta: Mahajanaka
Piet Liek Chedi is a bell-shaped chedi of the early Puklam period, influenced by Pala art. The base of the chedi contains 550 naratives scene in terracotta. These scenes are made of terracotta, but have not been enameled in green, which is different from Chavechikong. This shows that these scences may be dated in the pre-Pukam and the early Pukam period.

This large base is one of the two bases for the principle Buddha image of Dong Deung. One base has been brought from the Vihara and the other has been brounght from Dong Deung Prasat. Now, they are conserved in Danang Museum. This base consists of scenes about the Lord Buddha life in squre channels. Besides, it is decorated with Kanok patterns and niches of Dong Deung.

In 22-24 centuries BE, there are several remarkable feature of Buddha Image in Lanchang arts. For example, the traditional style face, small hair with hairline, large heads but narrow shoulders. The body is tall and thin. The robe is smooth with no stripes and there is the edge of the robe in the front according to Ayutthaya style. However, the edge of the robe is tilted which is the special characteristic of Lanchang.
