History of productionMy Son E is the oldest group of Prasats in the My Son group. It might be in the same period with the beginning of the establishment of Phra Pattaresuan as the linga for Cham kingdom around 12-13 centuries BE. A stone base, assumed to be the base of the linga was found here at the My Son E.
ArtThe entrance stair was influenced heavily from India such as the picture of a giant lifting the base, the handrail with the lions, decorated with flower pattern, and the bracket. The decoration of lions at the handrail and the flower pattern remind us of the same patterns at Achanta cave and Lanka art in Anuratthapura, which was in the same period or a little earlier. This shows the relationship between Cham kingdom and India and Lanka

Because these gods also take care of the ground, it is a bless for poeple who walk through this ladder to become richer.
