Religion and belief | Candi Tikus is conceived as the sacred pond, meant for the holy ablution accordance with the Hindu belief. The miniature towers in the middle of the tank seem to symbolize the five-spired Mt. Meru, the sacred mountain in Hinduism. This miniature tower is the symbol of the purification of the water in the tank. |
