History of productionMy Son is the sacred site of the Kingdom of Champa where the holy mountain locates. The sacred Sivalinga of the kingdom entitled Bhadreshvara used to be enshrined here also. Cham kings from the 5th-10th century have continuously dedicated lots of temples to the sacred Linga. My Son group A,B,C,D belong to the 10th century.
ArtMy Son Group D comprises two rectangular buildings, D1 nd D2. These are the Mandapa outside the enclosure of My Son Group B and Group C. These Mandapa are rectangular in plan and were roofed with tiles, which are not survived nowadays. The walls are decorated with pilasters and niches and punctuated by the windows decorated with balustrades.
