Art | The Buddha’s footprints in the after Pukam period is usually decorated with 108 blessing patterns. Some are in the tables spreading all over the foot and some are in the circle in the middle of the footprint. The edges are surrounded by Naga and are thick to store water. This is according to the concept of the footprint at Chavesedtong that is located on the riverside. |

Religion and belief | In the reign of king Taloong of Nuryongyan dynasty, the Buddha’s footprints of Chavesedtong were found. They were located on the riverside. Therefore, it was believed that they were the footprints beside Thammatha river according to the Theravada legend. |
Related artwork | Because most of the footprints since the king Taloong were the replicas of the foorprints at Chavesedtong, there is also water stored at foorprints as if they were at Thammatha river. Also, the foorprints were always surrounded with Naga as if they were worshiped from Naga at the river. |
