History of productionIn Hua Lai period, they had relationship with Chava both in terms of religion anf politics. As they speak languages from the same group, Cham and Chava developed a good relationship as evident in a number of artwork.
ArtThe head of this Bhodhisavara wears the crown like monk with a trianglular cornice according the Pala-Chava arts. The face is still very much Indian-Chava.in the the eyes look down at the floor, the mounth is thing and the image has no shoes. This shows a strong influece from Java that had been prevsilance.
