Art | Tamil temples in singapore have similar components with those in the southern India. It consists of Kopura topped with multi-tiered roof. The roof is decorated with gods. At the top, there is a rectangular dome. Inside the temple, there is a principle icon. Every building has spires of different colors, which was very popular among Tamil temples in the late Vichainakhon art and Narok in the southern part of India. This also had some influences to Singapore temples. |
