Art | The traits of the Artwork The Buddha Image of late Lan Xang Period. The influences of Sukhothai and Lanna Arts in Buddhist Arts seem to fade out and the Buddha Image seems to display the local style of Lan Xang more. Sukhothai’s flame-shaped aureole is still visible but the hair is smaller and sharper with the hairline. The eyes is narrower like the native style, the nose is bigger than the Sukhothai style. |
