History of productionPo Win Taung is the manmade caves full with paining and sculpture. More than one hundred caves in numbers, this cave was intended to be the meditative cells of the monks.
ArtNyaungyan mural is characterized by the red tone background and the devoid of perspective. The figure is so cartoon-liked and the space aroud thefiguer is filled by the motifs. The scenes are divided by the multi-arched cloud-liked edge. Sometime the narration are fixed be the elongate palm-leave-liked register.
