San Sebastian Church in Manila is one of a few churches that were built in Gothic style. The altar is composed of the sharp- pointed tower and the arch-pointed door frame like Gothic style. On the back wall appears window in the shape of rose which is the important characteristic of Gothic architecture as well.

The Lady of Mount Carmel is at this altar. The Lady holds her baby in one arm while another gives out “bead” which is the symbol of becoming a priest to the priests who are at Mount Carmel.
