Art | The Penang Museum Building is an interesting colonial era’s building that mixes both Classic style and Baroque style together. The building contains Palladian plan that was popular for the government place at that time. The architectural elements of this building are in Classic style like Doric and Corinthians pillars that support loggia continuous arches. However, the central pediment uses the Baroque arch. There are many of this mixing type architecture in Malaysia such as in Taiping. |
