History of productionSt George Church is the most ancient Anglican church in Southeast Asia. It was constructed in 1818 A.D. following the seizing of Pulao Penang by the British.
ArtThe church is designed by using the classic architectural order, such as the Doric columns supporting the triangular pediment. The plan is laid symmetrically. This church is very similar to the cathedral of St George at at Chennai in India.
