History of production | Khoo Kongsi is a clan house of the Khoo whose came from Southern Fujian. Khoo clan is a wealthy clan from their trading in the Malay peninsula. The clan house was built in 1851 but was burned from Lightning in 1894. They believed that their clan house was burned because it had been on par with the emperor palace. So the smaller new clan house was built in 1902 and remained until now. |
