Key academic information | Ananta Nagaraja Royal Barge’s prow was crafted as Ananta Nagaraja, the King of Naga or snake. This may represent an aspect of Ananta Nagaraja as a reassemble of Lord Vishnu while resting over the milk ocean. Thus, it reflects the idea that God King or Devaraja is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Busabok or a small pavilion is placed at the middle part of the royal barge in order to carry Katina cloth or to house important Buddha images, as well as to accommodate the kings. |
