Conservation

Ho Vithuradasna was listed and declared an ancient monument in the Government Gazette, no. 98 section 177 on the 27th October 1981.

Art

Ho Vithuradasna is a three-storey tower in dodecagonal plan. The first storey was made from brick and stucco with pillar supporting curved purlins. The upper storey have verandas decorated by carving wooden decorative like Gingerbread houses. The tower top is a dome with tiles. The tower is painted in red and yellow and has spiral staircase inside.

Key academic information

Ho Vithuradasna is a tower where King Rama V used to view the scenery and wild elephants near Bang Pa-In Palace. The building is a fine example of the further construction technic that was developed from the former reign.
