The Buddha images are sitting on a lion base in meditation attitude. On top of the base are stacked lotuses. The Buddha image in meditation attitude is the Buddha image of Thursday which was also the day that King Rama IV was born. Moreover, when Wat Ratchapraditsathitmahasimaram was built to be the temple of Dhammayuttika Nikaya, the King had simulated Phra Sihing Buddha to be the principal Buddha image of the royal vihara and the Buddha image was named Phra Sihing Patimakorn Buddha.
